1: Controll if the connector tries to send change messages to Kafka
2: Enter connection data and options as the URL to the optional schema registry for the Kafka broker
3: Define the serializers that will be used for serializing the JSON object, default is org.apache.kafka.common.serialization.StringSerializer
4: Test the connection. It will be tested if you change an option but you are free to click on the toggle to test if the Kafka broker is answering. The connection timeout for the check is fixed to 5 seconds.
